The Brief

To create an online trading platform for approved members of corporate entertainment (CE) companies and agencies. Allow users to buy, sell and auction CE packages, and maintain an online portfolio of their packages available.

The Solution

We created a permissions-based extranet system allowing users to login and insert, update and delete information regarding their portfolio of available CE packages. When logging in a user is immediately alerted to any change in status of their portfolio, being informed of any Messages or offers received, any Sales that have been made, and any Purchases of their own that have been approved.

In order to effectively categorise all the relevant information on this site, we created a two-tier navigational structure, allowing users to search for, for example, all Premiership packages available in Football, or all Royal Ascot packages contained in Horse Racing. Upon logging in the site defaults to displaying the latest packages entered, allowing the user an immediate snapshot of any changes to the online portfolio since their last return.

Much artificial intelligence is included in the system, informing users by email when they have received an offer, when an offer of theirs has been approved, when one of their packages has expired, and when a Sale has been made.
